I’m currently working on a series of narrative paintings based on the work of William Shakespeare. I hope to go beyond illustration by looking for ways of translating Shakespeare's dramatic storytelling devices into visual storytelling devices. My aim is to make images that are as playful with the language of painting as Shakespeare himself is with the language of literature and theater.  All of these paintings are in progress, and I plan to have about seven in all.
